1/9/05 More Gigs:Sorry about the lack of updates on here recently, it has been a bit wierd for awhile, but it looks
like the band is back to its usual self. We have a hand full of shows coming up over the next few months mostly with our good
friends the Bennigans. I'll just list the gigs below to make it easier

Sept 30th: Reistated at Jacks Bar Falkirk
Oct 8th: Bar-Code in Perth (a bus will be running)

28/6/05 The
Carling Academy (big thanx): On Sunday 26th of June Drunken Munki Dawned the stage
at Carling Academy and gave it there all at the Emergenza Scottish finals. Apart from maybe a few sound problems the show
went down well and being the only punk band playing had a large contrast the mainly heavy or indie bands that seemed to dominate
the final. Selling the least tickets the band never really had much hope of progressing past the scottish final and to be
honest were just honoured to be playing at such an event. Drunken Munki just like to say we had the time of our
lives all through the stages of the competiton and we'd like to thank firstly Emergenza for giving us such an opportunity
but we'd like to give a special thanks all the bands and all the fans that came out to each show and made the competition
something that we will always look back on, thank for the memories!
13/6/05 New EP Long Drive Home: The
Band have finally finished recording their long awaited new EP ' Long Drive Home' it will be expected to be finished getting
mixed in early July. To launch the release there will be a party/gig at John Street featuring bands such as The Bennigans,
Cannon Fodder and Amped 69. Keep checking the gigs page for a date!
13/6/05 The Carling Academy: Drunken
Munki will be perfomring at the Emergenza Battle of the Bands final on the 26th of June! We'd like to take this chance to
say thanx to everyone who came to the other rounds and made this possible. We'd also like to say anyone who didn't vote for
us (u know who we're talking bout ha ha ha) U can shove ur shitey votes up your arse cos we didn't need them! :) cheers amigos
14/4/05 Emergenza: Drunken Munki will be playing at the Strathclyde Union (vertigo) on the 28th of April in the Emergenza Battle
of the bands semi final. The band came second place in the first heat in the Barlfy and would like to thank anyone who attended.
The winners from this round get to perform at the Carling Acadenmy in the final. Here's hoping amigos! cheers.
14/4/05 New E.P: The band have been continually writing the follow up to their last E.P (2nd star to the right) and will hopfully
hit reeltime studios nearer the summer. Any one with name idea's or could do the cover art please contact Mitchell at drunkenmonky69@hotmail.com .
